Surprise!
On Monday Futuregirl finally received my surprise gift to her:

It was a long (almost 3 weeks!) and (what seems like a) bumpy road (you can read about it on Futuregirl's blog) but my Hippo has arrived at his new home in one piece.
I'll admit I started to get worried but I did not want to ruin the surprise, so I held myself from mailing her.
The Pattern for the Winter Hippo can be purchased through my Etsy store.

Crocheted fingerless mittens
My husband needed some fingerless mittens since his fingers are necessary for some of his activities (playing drums, using the keyboard etc.) so I made him this cozy pair:

The pattern was taken from
http://crochetme.com/patterns/basic-fingerless-mittens with a few alterations.
On another note, someone (and I'm not telling you who yet) is about to be surprised in 10 days to two weeks :)

Futuregirl's mystery box has arrived!
About two weeks ago I had won Futuregirl's blogaversary drawing, Yay!
I'd won a mystery box of crafty goodness and today the package has arrived.
This is what was in the box:

Lots and lots of goodies!!! I love it all and especially the fabrics - some of them used by futuregirl for the lining in her beautiful bags and wristlets.
Thank you so much Alice, you've made one girl very excited!
